Two Detained in Ibiza for Vehicle Theft and Forced Entry

The Civil Guard has detained two men, aged 32 and 34, suspected of involvement in a series of crimes, including forced entry and robbery in vehicles. The incident occurred in the Cala Gració and Punta Galera area, within the municipality of Sant Antoni in Ibiza.

A Civil Guard Citizen Security patrol on Sunday morning reported the events in an official note. The officers in Cala Gracio observed two individuals near a parked vehicle, with one of them attempting to manipulate a car door. They then stopped the suspects, confirmed that a door had been forced, and proceeded to detain them for further inquiry.

Upon detention, the agents seized several electronic devices, a leather wallet containing cash, and three mobile phones. Two victims were located in Punta Galera and another in Cala Gració, and all items recovered from inside the suspects’ vehicle were restored to their rightful owners. The investigation continued to establish the full scope of the alleged offenses and to identify any additional victims or vehicles affected by the alleged crimes. The Civil Guard stressed their ongoing commitment to safeguarding residents and visitors, monitoring the area for similar incidents, and ensuring the rapid return of property to victims.
