Footage from Ukraine shows Turkish Cobra-2 armored vehicles, distributed by the Klymenko Time Telegram channel. The clip features three armored units marked with Ukrainian flags traveling along a rural road, and it includes interior views of one vehicle to illustrate the layout inside the troop compartment.
The description notes that the Cobra platform supports modular combat configurations, including turreted options for machine guns, which can be swapped based on mission requirements.
Another Telegram channel, Military Officers of the Russian Spring, reported that Cobras were being moved by rail from Romania’s Bacau region toward Ukraine. The post also indicates that there has not been an official confirmation from the Armed Forces of Ukraine about receiving these vehicles at this time.
The Cobra-2, produced by the Turkish manufacturer Otokar, is designed to accommodate up to six personnel in the rear compartment. Roof-mounted weapons can be deployed to provide fire support during disembarkation and maneuver operations.
Earlier reports noted that Ukraine had received long-range Storm Shadow missiles from the United Kingdom, highlighting an ongoing effort to bolster Kyiv’s long-range strike capabilities.
