A young girl was hospitalized after an incident on a trampoline in Moscow, according to Life and other local reports. The event took place in the Lyublino district. The child had gone to a sports facility to train when she fell while attempting a gymnastic element. After the fall, she began to experience back pain and trouble breathing.
His condition did not improve the following day, and she was transported to a hospital for evaluation. Medical staff diagnosed a compression fracture of the spine. In the coming days, she is expected to wear a back brace to support healing and stabilization.
According to the girl’s parents, she immediately told the coach about her discomfort, but was advised to continue training as if nothing serious had happened. After the session, she was told to realign her spine if necessary. The family says the coach did not take the report seriously at first, and that the signs of injury were downplayed.
The organization’s manager offered a different version. He claimed the athlete reported back pain, but the coach allowed continued practice. He did not rule out the possibility that the injury occurred elsewhere during the training session. The coach involved has since been suspended from duties and is noted to be a former Olympic champion.
The parents have indicated they intend to pursue legal action to seek accountability and ensure safety improvements at the facility.
Separately, reports from Sakhalin described a schoolgirl who suffered a serious fall while attempting to take a selfie, tumbling from a cliff and landing on rocks. This incident underscores the risks associated with risky activities and the importance of proper supervision and safety protocols for young people.
