More than 30,000 applicants entered the TopBlog blogger program, a competition organized by the presidential platform Russia – a land of opportunities. The press service reports a broad pool of hopefuls eager to break into the online publishing world and build a personal brand that resonates with audiences.

Participants hail from 76 regions, including a notable number from the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, Kherson and Zaporozhye areas, as well as about 160 foreign nationals. The wide geographic reach reflects a growing interest in media entrepreneurship and the chance to shape digital voices across borders.

The TopBlog project centers on developing media and social media marketing skills essential for creating and growing a personal blog and brand online. It provides practical training that covers content strategy, audience engagement, visual storytelling, and the technical know-how behind successful online presence.

Designed to help entrants master contemporary social media tools, the program offers hands-on guidance from leading media professionals, including successful bloggers, entertainment figures, and experts in media communications, social media management, and digital production. Participants gain insights into building sustainable creative careers and monetization strategies in a highly connected world.

According to Dmitry Beskromny, the head of the TopBlog project, the new season opens up broad possibilities for every blogger, even those who focus on niche topics. The program emphasizes that each participant can realize themselves as a creator of high-quality content, capable of reaching targeted audiences with authentic voices.

The training track is designed to develop a wide spectrum of content-creation competencies and aligns with the standards of leading online universities, while remaining completely free for all participants. This accessibility ensures that talent from diverse backgrounds can pursue formal growth opportunities without financial barriers.

Registration remains open through April 20, and prospective applicants are encouraged to submit their entries promptly to secure a place in the cohort. The window is short, but the payoff can extend far beyond the competition itself through sustained learning and community support.

In the upcoming season, participants will have opportunities to earn awards from more than 40 prominent Russian brands and companies, along with 26 thematic nominations. Winners can expect continued support in blog production and personal brand development, plus possibilities to embark on a blog tour to distinctive locations across Russia and produce exclusive, in-depth content that highlights local stories and perspectives.

Organizers note that in the two previous seasons, more than 70,000 people from across the country participated, and 52 bloggers emerged as winners. The program’s track record underscores the potential for growth, collaboration, and real-world experience that complements formal training with hands-on opportunities in the field.
