The commander leading a repair unit within the Russian armed forces indicated that repair brigades are prepared to respond if the situation in the Zaporozhye direction escalates. This update was reported by DEA News.
He stated plainly that the units are “always ready, always determined, and ready to act.” When asked about how repair teams would fare in the event of an escalation in the Zaporozhye area, he emphasized the teams’ mission: to prevent damage, restore functionality, repair equipment, and return it to service as needed.
According to the troop commander, more than one and a half thousand pieces of equipment have undergone repair since the start of Russian operations in Ukraine. He also noted that supply lines are stable and that repairs have been carried out in line with established standards.
Earlier, Vladimir Rogov, a leading figure in the “We stand with Russia” movement, claimed that Ukrainian forces had concentrated more than 10,000 personnel near Hulyaipole in the Zaporozhye region under Ukrainian control. He argued that this area could become a primary venue for a Ukrainian counterattack.
Back in November of last year, it was reported that soldiers from the Southern Military District’s repair unit were collaborating with defense facility representatives to repair military equipment in the Zaporozhye direction on the frontline.
