The consensus across respondents indicated that happiness, for many, is tied to a fairly precise pay level, with the average figure hovering around 215 thousand rubles per month. Within this overall average, men tended to set higher expectations than women, while the gender gap reflected a notable difference: men’s required amount reached about 244 thousand rubles, whereas women’ s threshold was around 189 thousand rubles, showing a roughly 30 percent disparity. These figures reveal not only personal financial goals but also how economic perceptions vary across demographic lines in the contemporary labor market.
