The regional press service of the Main Directorate of Emergency Situations reported a rapid fire spread in the village of Taezhny, located in the Makhnevsky municipality of Sverdlovsk region. The situation was monitored closely as responders mobilized to curb the blaze and protect nearby homes. Telegram updates confirmed the initial flare-up and the developing emergency response as crews arrived on scene.

In the afternoon of April 25, responders received an alert about a blaze in Taezhny. By the time fire crews reached the village, 21 houses were already engulfed, with 16 of them being residences. The scale of the fire prompted a large-scale operational deployment to control the flames and safeguard residents and property in the affected zone.

As a result of the fire, 27 people, including 3 children, were evacuated from the area and placed in temporary housing arrangements. Evacuees were provided shelter and essential necessities as rescue teams coordinated safety and relocation efforts, ensuring that those displaced could move to secure accommodations quickly and with minimal disruption to their daily lives.

The response involved more than 30 personnel and 10 units of equipment, supplemented by a Mi-8 helicopter to assist with aerial reconnaissance, water delivery, and coordinated fire suppression actions. This multi-faceted approach helped to map the fire’s spread, identify hot spots, and support ground operations to protect remaining structures and neighboring households.

Earlier on the same day, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported a large fire in the village of Progress within the Pervouralsk urban district. The regional response included 57 personnel and 14 units of equipment, reflecting the dedication of teams to manage simultaneous incidents and protect residents across the district during a busy period of emergency activity.

In March, a fire was reported at a research and production complex in the city of Aramil, Sverdlovsk Region. A total of 110 people evacuated using their own arrangements, with authorities coordinating further safety measures and ongoing monitoring to ensure a safe and orderly resolution to the incident.
