The Moscow Khoroshevsky Court has seized more than 26 million rubles and several properties tied to Alexander Kireev, a former employee of the central apparatus of the Investigative Committee, along with his father and mother. This information is reported by TASS.

The court confirmed the Deputy Prosecutor General’s full claim against AS Kireev, SI Kireev, and N. Kireeva. The ruling orders a joint and several recovery of 26 million 213 thousand rubles in favor of the state.

The court determined that the amount corresponded to the value of property owned by the Kireev family, which the prosecutor’s office contends was obtained through illegal means. In addition, three non-residential buildings and four parking lots connected to the family were transferred to state ownership.

The proceedings noted that 17 corruption-related criminal cases were opened in relation to Kireev.

A representative from the prosecutor’s office stated that a former Investigative Committee employee bought multiple luxury apartments in 2017, yet his declared income did not support such purchases. Portions of the acquired holdings were then transferred to family members. Court witnesses and the prosecutor’s office remained unconvinced by these explanations.

In June, the Moscow Nikulinsky Court seized Bitcoin valued at 1.6 billion rubles from another former Investigative Committee investigator, Marat Tambiev, who stands accused of taking bribes from hackers.

Earlier, in Potanin’s network, a case led to the capture of a company named Landing in the Moscow region at the request of Rosleskhoz.
