Monte Baruca Psychiatric Prison sits in the heart of the narrative during a bleak December night. The clock is ticking as gunmen encircle the facility, severing all contact with the outside world. Their goal is to seize Simón Lago, a dangerous serial killer. If the guards capitulate, the assault could end within minutes. Yet warden Hugo, portrayed by Alberto Ammann, refuses to yield and readies a stubborn defense. His only allies are a handful of officers and the inmates who, under pressure, must decide whether to aid in the resistance.
What unfolds is a brutal long night of siege and violence that pits Hugo and his team against a conspiracy steered by a circle of exceedingly powerful individuals who will stop at nothing to achieve their aims. The tension escalates as loyalties blur, and every decision could tip the balance between order and calamity.
