Anna Tikhaya, whose real name is Anna Tikhomirova, became known through the reality project about young women facing tough circumstances. She received a sentence of 1.3 years in a penal colony after being found responsible for a brutal assault on a stranger. The information originated from a Telegram channel that covered entertainment matters.
Reports indicate that in the autumn of 2022, the 28-year-old in question assaulted an unknown woman at a bus stop, leaving the victim with serious injuries. Medical assessments identified a displaced orbital fracture and a traumatic brain injury requiring careful treatment and monitoring.
According to the outlet, the victim’s mother filed a formal complaint, which led to the launch of a criminal case against the participant in the sixth season of the show titled “The Boys.”
The channel notes that the trial extended over more than a year. On January 17, the court issued a ruling: 1.3 years of imprisonment in a correctional facility and a compensation award for moral damage totaling 300,000 rubles.
It is mentioned that Anna had requested permission to improve her circumstances by raising her nine-year-old daughter on her own.
Nevertheless, the court determined a real sentence due to Tikhaya’s prior conviction for intentionally causing harm to health and for deprivation of life rights, which influenced the severity of the punishment.
Reports indicate that Tikhaya was brought to court in November in connection with an incident involving a girl in Moscow.
Anna Tikhaya, formerly a contestant on the program known as “Boys,” has faced discussions about her psychological well-being and public image as she navigates the consequences of her actions.
