Television Schedule Shake-Up: The Incredible Duo Returns and The Island Moves to Thursday

TVE has unveiled a reshuffled schedule aimed at protecting a standout program in prime time. After pulling Blood Ties from Wednesday evenings due to disappointing numbers, public television shifts its strategy to safeguard a beloved pairing on the island of temptation, moving into a Thursday prime time slot.

Music programs hosted by John and a dash of surprise mark the week’s launch as the show continues its weekly journey. With a 12.7 percent share and about 1.2 million viewers last time, the franchise will advance its broadcast time to 22:10, roughly thirty five minutes ahead of its previous slot. The plan leaves little room for delay, keeping the schedule tight in prime time.

La 1 will offer a preview of Incredible Duos from 22:10 to 22:35. Immediately afterward, the second premiere of the talent show will begin. In this way, Joaquín on Antena 3 will anticipate the start of La Isla de las Tentaciones, which moves from Wednesday to Thursday to dodge the premiere of El Novato.

The Telecinco reality series will begin around 22:50, with a fresh installment of Nightmare in Heaven also affected by this reshuffle. The Lara Álvarez hosted format will now premier on Wednesday nights with live events, shaping the week’s reality lineup.

The second premiere of The Incredible Duo

Following the buzz of the first night, competition heats up among the couples who survived the opening round. The team standings are shaped by audience votes, with the public casting a decisive voice. Some duos may also cast their votes against their opponents, creating a dynamic, sometimes tense, scoreboard.

The contestants who come to the fore in The Incredible Duo’s early faceoffs include Miguel Poveda paired with Antonio José; Ana Belén paired with Agoney; Victor Manuel paired with Chema Rivas; and Sole Giménez paired with Yoly Saa. The plot thickens as Yoly initially declines a duet with Sole in this installment, injecting another twist into the night’s drama.
