The spray caused immediate injury and led to the boy needing emergency medical attention. Concerned about possible lasting effects, the mother feared the chemical burn could affect her child’s vision and required close medical monitoring.
The mother described the situation and the treatment her child was receiving. She said, “We are at home now, our faces are bandaged, they are applying injections, eye drops, and gels to our eyes. Tomorrow we will see a surgeon, and then an ophthalmologist.” The family has since pursued a formal police report, hoping for a clear investigation into the assault and identification of the second person involved in the incident.
