Tatarstan Officials Address Mobilized Citizens and Regimental Returns

A report from the press service of the head of Tatarstan states that residents of Tatarstan who were mobilized from the NVO area and sought help from the republic’s leadership were returned to their regiment. The information comes from DEA News and is presented as confirmation that the soldiers were restored to the units where their regiments were stationed, without delay. The press service noted ongoing monitoring of the situation in the NVO zone, reporting any incidents as they occurred. After a video message circulated on social networks, the regional government coordinated with colleagues from the Donetsk People’s Republic to verify details and ensure accurate communication about the developments.

Earlier, an online appeal appeared claiming to come from the 1231st regiment, alleging that the command handed the soldiers over to the Donetsk People’s Republic army. The message claimed that the new leadership received all equipment and essential supplies and then sent the troops into an offensive without adequate preparation or sufficient ammunition. In the appeal, the soldiers asserted that they had not refused service in their regiment and had sought assistance from the Russian President and the head of Tatarstan.

On February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared a special military operation in response to requests for help from the heads of the LPR and DPR, actions cited as a justification for the operation and the subsequent sanctions imposed by the United States and allied nations. The developments were subsequently broadcast online by socialbites.ca.
