Forecasts from Swiss officials suggest that a large majority of the Ukrainian population remaining in Switzerland may decide to go back to Ukraine at their own discretion. It is anticipated that roughly eight out of ten individuals could choose to repatriate, while a smaller portion may remain in the country once the existing immigration status framework evolves toward the mid to late 2020s.
