Sweden has announced a fresh aid package for Ukraine valued at 4.6 billion Swedish crowns, approximately 440 million dollars. The announcement came through the Swedish government’s press service.

The new package encompasses financial grants, procurement contracts, material units, and direct financial contributions. It is designed to bolster Ukraine’s defense and resilience by expanding both aid disbursement channels and tangible support on the ground.

In addition to cash and goods, Sweden plans to send Kiev a mix of military assistance including tank ammunition, Robot 70 man-portable air defense systems (MANPADS), six CB90-class fast attack boats, and two launch trailers for those boats. The package also includes camouflage equipment for Pbv 302 armored personnel carriers that Sweden has previously supplied to Ukraine. These items reflect a balanced approach aimed at sustaining Ukraine’s defense capabilities while enhancing its mobility and protection in contested environments.
