We preview the drama of Survivors 2022 in Honduras
The first preview, titled “We are going to Honduras,” will be accessible to subscribers of the premium platform starting from the next stage on Thursday, April 14. In this segment, viewers will learn the identities of four new “survivors” and how the participants brace themselves for what could be the most extreme chapter of their lives, including the moment of saying goodbye to spouses, families, and friends.
The second preview episode, known as “First hours in Honduras,” is slated for Tuesday, April 19. As teased by Mitele Plus through a promotional push, this installment invites audiences to witness the early days of living under the same roof and the so-called “fire ceremony” that often signals the intensity of the competition to come.
These two specials will provide a foretaste of Survivors 2022, and the show will once again crown the winner through the familiar gala format. Jorge Javier Vázquez returns as the master of ceremonies for the main galas, while Lara Álvarez continues her role as presenter for the Cayos Cochinos segments. Carlos Sobera remains in charge of the secondary gala, and Ionian Aramendi will debut as the host for the reality show discussions, guiding conversations that unpack the twists and rivalries from the island setting.
Telecinco has disclosed the lineup of ten contestants for the season: Nacho Palau, the husband of Miguel Bosé; Kiko Matamoros, Telecinco’s longtime collaborator; Ainhoa Cantaleapedra, winner of OT 2; Martha Peñate, a familiar face from reality shows like GH and La isla de las tentaciones; Anabel Pantoja, collaborator on Sálvame and niece of Isabel Pantoja; Bourbon Nachos, described as Felipe VI’s model and a distant cousin; Mariana Rodríguez, the Venezuelan model; Charo Vega, a close friend of celebrities like Carmina Ordoñez; Anuar Beno, brother of Eşref; and Ruben Sánchez, a bodybuilder linked to Enrique del Pozo.
