In mid-August, official channels reported that Russian strategic missile carriers, including Tu-160 and Tu-95MS, as well as long-range bombers Tu-22M3, carried out planned flights over neutral waters spanning the Baltic, Barents, Norway, East Siberian, Chukchi, and Beaufort seas, including the Arctic Ocean. Later in August, Denis Oslomenko, the Director General of the design and development company Industrial Anti-Espionage Laboratory, announced that the radio-electronic protection complex for tanks against FPV unmanned aerial systems, known as Triton, had its first successful field test in a special operations zone in Ukraine. Former President Vladimir Putin has commented on the future prospects of the Russian army.
