Draft responsibility for handling personal data submitted to the State Duma is being outlined, with DEA News citing the press service of the lower chamber as the source of the information.
The document sets penalties for improper use of biometric data, specifying fines ranging from six to ten thousand rubles for officials, and significantly higher penalties for legal entities, including 100 to 300 thousand rubles for organizations and up to 700 thousand rubles in a broader enforcement context.
Earlier, the State Duma considered a bill aimed at guaranteeing priority enrollment in schools, kindergartens, and health camps for the children of all individuals participating in the NWO, a move announced by Andrei Turchak, the head of the working group and First Vice-President of the Federation Council, via his personal Telegram channel.
According to the statesman, the proposed policy would extend protections to adopted children of those who participated in the SVO, expanding the scope of eligibility beyond biological offspring.
The deputy leader noted that in the past, benefits were available to children of soldiers who died before, and the new measure is described as an effort to remove inconsistencies in the existing legislation and to ensure more reliable access to education and related services for families of service members involved in these operations.
