The Valladolid Prosecutor’s Office has requested a prison term of seven years for the man accused of sexually abusing children. He is due to stand trial on a Wednesday, after being arrested in November 2016 following a search of his home. Authorities say they found a large amount of child pornography, including material that depicted very young victims in sexual situations. The alleged offenses are described as involving victims aged two to three years in some cases.

The forthcoming hearing will take place at the Valladolid Court, where the prosecutor has asked for the seven-year sentence along with additional penalties related to possession and distribution of child pornography. The request also includes ten years of disqualification from any paid or unpaid profession or trade, which would restrict contact with minors and with persons who have disabilities, and ten years of probation, according to legal sources.

The case is rooted in records compiled by the Civil Guard Judicial Police Central Unit for Minors and Sexual Abuse, covering the period from January 1 to August 14, 2016. The investigation indicates that a total of 137 obscene files related to child sexual abuse were traced to a specific IP address.

The investigation began after a court-issued order directed to the telecommunications provider France Telecom. The lead figure in the case was identified as the person living in the Las Delicias neighborhood. A comprehensive search was conducted on November 8, 2016, as part of the inquiry.

During the operation, law enforcement personnel recovered eleven hard drives, several computers, three flash drives, and CDs and DVDs. Analysis revealed that peer-to-peer file-sharing programs, including Emule and Ares, were installed on a computer connected to the case, indicating that child pornography files had been exchanged over these networks.

Documents show that 33,157 files were scrutinized, including both videos and photographs. Some searches referenced phrases such as “kids shower” and “locker,” suggesting patterns in how the material was sought and organized.

Law enforcement officials emphasize the particularly exploitative and disturbing nature of the material, noting that certain scenes depicted infants as young as two or three years old in sexual acts. In other instances, there were references to sexual activities involving a five-year-old girl. The authorities stress that the content underlying these cases is especially disturbing and requires rigorous investigation and prosecution.
