Bodegas Bocopa has launched its seventh charitable endowment at the Benidorm Doble Amor Business Center. This initiative stems from a 2015 agreement with the City Council, in which Bocopa pledged to contribute at least one portion of its annual wine sales. In 2022 the program produced a donation of 2,400 euros, underscoring the strong social impact of the Señorío de Benidorm wines on both residents and visitors after seven years since the line of products was introduced. The delivery of the funds to the Doble Amor Vocational Center in Benidorm was announced by Gaspar P. Tomás, the director of Bodegas Bocopa, with José Luis Calvo, president of the Double Love Association, present at the handover.
Benidorm’s mayor Toni Pérez attended the event, joined by first lieutenant Ana Pellicer and several local political representatives including Ángela Zaragozí, Aída García, Juan Diaz, Mónica Gómez, Jaime Jesús Pérez, Rubén Martínez, Laura Rubio and Cristina Escoda. They were accompanied by allies from the hospitality sector, including Mario Ayús of Cafés Meliá Benidorm. For Bocopa, this donation carries particular significance because it reflects a commitment to social development in the community served by the Doble Amor Center. The aim remains not only to support those in need but also to promote a more inclusive social economy for the people of Benidorm.

Gaspar Tomas, Bocopa’s director, spoke to attendees about the recognitions earned by Señorio de Benidorm wines during the previous year. Since the project began in 2015, the brand has accumulated more than a thousand international awards, highlighting the quality and consistency of its wine portfolio. The recent accolades include the Grand Gold Medal for Señorío de Benidorm Tinto Roble from the Ecoracimo awards for 2021 and a Gold Medal at the 29th Iberian Wine Competition. The Chardonnay from the 2022 harvest, Señorío de Benidorm, also earned a Mezquita award, underscoring the consistency across the range. These honours reinforce the alignment between the wines and the social initiative, demonstrating how a commercial venture can fuel community well-being while achieving recognition in global wine circuits.
