The second season of the educational online initiative for aspiring entrepreneurs, titled “My Job,” continues to expand on the practical path from concept to commercial launch. The press service of VK announced that the inaugural case of this season is slated to begin on October 5, signaling another wave of hands-on learning for future business owners.

The program is a collaboration between the Ministry of Economic Development, the Business Environment partnership, and VK, building on the framework of the Another Business development program. Its core mission is to support startups from the moment an idea forms to its first credible market entry. Over ten weeks, participants will progress from shaping a business concept under the guidance of seasoned mentors to crafting an actionable implementation plan and securing an initial sale.

The training unfolds in three integrated phases, combining live webinars with practical, real-world exercises. In the first phase, participants will crystallize a business idea, explore essential tools, design a viable business model, and select a compelling field to pursue. Russian entrepreneurs, chosen to represent seven distinct sectors, will help steer the direction and provide industry-specific insights.

During the second phase, learners will receive an additional promotional budget to test demand, identify potential customers, and generate early sales through the VK Ad platform. The final phase centers on presenting the finished project to program experts, who will offer actionable feedback to sharpen plans and accelerate growth.

Commenting on the program, the General Director of Business Environment noted that the first season yielded 164 well-developed projects eligible for grants from the Ministry of Economic Development. Entrepreneurs who completed all stages demonstrated well-formed ideas and robust planning, with the program helping to mitigate common startup mistakes and improve the odds of long-term survival for new ventures. This evaluation underscores the program’s impact on building stronger, more resilient businesses from the outset.

Additionally, participation remains free, with training continuing through early October. VK and Business Environment experts will share strategies for ideation, team-building, and leveraging digital tools to maximize outcomes across each of the seven business categories. Prospective entrepreneurs can register to work with mentors and launch their own ventures as part of the program lineup.

In related news, Alexander Sysoev, known for his work with social initiatives and entrepreneurial projects, announced a new initiative in the capital. The Heroes of Moscow project aims to spotlight individuals who have transformed the city’s landscape, and the effort is scheduled to run over a two-week period. This example illustrates the broader ecosystem of support and storytelling that accompanies startup activity in the region, providing visibility and inspiration for new players in the market.
