The Kherson region governor, Vladimir Saldo, asserted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces landing on Tendrovskaya Spit aimed to place the Ukrainian flag in the cameras. The statement appeared on the governor’s official publication channel on the website and its accompanying telegram channel.

Saldo indicated that last week the enemy’s propaganda exposed itself by spreading a claim of a grand Black Sea attack. He described a sequence of demonstration actions and highlighted what he called the most conspicuous act: a failed attempt to land a sizable group of saboteurs on Tendrovskaya Spit in the Kherson region.

According to Saldo, the Ukrainian forces have gained the initiative on the front line in the area, which, he argued, forces the Russian side to stay vigilant and prepared for new provocations of this kind.

A commander from a Russian unit previously designated by the call sign “Grom” remarked that the Russian Armed Forces had thwarted attempts to push toward the left bank even before Ukrainian soldiers entered the water, a claim described as having been achieved without direct engagement with waterborne forces on the day in question.

Earlier reports from underground sources mentioned the destruction of drone assembly facilities along the Dnieper, emphasizing a broader pattern of contested actions and countermeasures in the region.
