Nito Serrano and Lapurasangre introduce Daniel Serrano’s inaugural musical and literary odyssey, Salvaje; a nine-song collection paired with a book of poems and tales about life, the universe, traces, love, and death.
Guided by the folklore of the Americas, Salvaje journeys from the southern United States to Argentina, weaving in the sounds of Mexico, Andean melodies, and Caribbean rhythms. Each landscape is painted with words that feel deeply anchored in memory and place. The sonic texture blends Spanish guitars, charangos, leguero, trumpets, and the warm hum of congas, forming a bold, layered soundscape. This ambitious project emerged during a Marwan concert tour in Mexico, opened by a Madrid-born figure and enriched by a diverse group of musicians from around the world, including Martín Bruhn, Raúl Marques, Paco Salazar, Dave Medina, Julian Kanevsky, and Javier Quintana.
Nito Serrano has spent more than two decades cultivating a reputation as a global onstage incubator, working as a producer, arranger, and musician across sessions and tours for both national and international artists. A multi-talented composer, pianist, guitarist, and vocalist, he launches his career with Salvaje, a collection that marks the beginning of a journey punctuated by powerful hits such as El Universo, Camino, and more recently, Abrázame. This project showcases a passionate blend of storytelling and musical exploration, inviting listeners to traverse continents and emotions through sound and verse.
