The attacker struck the woman multiple times in the head with a metal bar, rendering her unconscious. The force of the blows and the sudden violence left the victim incapacitated on the pavement, prompting emergency responders to be called to the scene.
The perpetrator then dragged the unconscious woman into the nearby bushes and robbed her of personal belongings, including a bag containing two bank cards and a cell phone. The assault left the victim with serious injuries, as medical professionals assessed the health impact as substantial.
The defendant, a resident of Rybinsk, received a sentence of 11 years and two months in a correctional facility operating under a strict regime.
