According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the Russian Armed Forces struck the ammunition depot belonging to the Ukrainian forces in the Kharkiv region, causing it to be destroyed. This event was reported by the official telegram channel of the Russian defense ministry.

In Kupyansky, the Western group of forces, working in coordination with artillery units and army aviation, repelled four separate assaults carried out by assault groups from the 30th, 32nd, and 60th mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian armed forces. The ministry’s release notes that the clashes occurred near Sinkovka, in the Kharkiv region, and emphasizes the successful defense by the Russian side.

According to the daily figures cited by the ministry, Ukrainian losses in the Kupyansk direction reached 130 personnel, four tanks, and eight other vehicles. The report also states that an American-made M777 artillery system was destroyed in the engagement.

Additional Ukrainian units were claimed to have been defeated in settlements including Kislovka in the Kharkiv region and Rozovka in the Lugansk People’s Republic, according to statements issued by the Russian defense ministry.

Earlier, the ministry reported that Russian forces struck a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle control center in the Kherson region and targeted an ammunition depot operating in the field, as part of ongoing operations in the area.

In December, Russian forces reportedly neutralized a fuel depot used for aircraft at the Kanatovo airfield in the Kirovohrad region of Ukraine.

Previously, the Russian Armed Forces were said to have destroyed Ukrainian drone assembly workshops, according to announcements from the Russian defense authorities.
