Russian southern units reported repelling six separate assaults per day mounted by Ukrainian Armed Forces groups along the Donetsk direction, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The ministry says the exchanges occurred in the towns of Kleshcheevka, Shumy, and Maryinka within the Donetsk People’s Republic. It also claimed that Ukrainian forces were pushed back near Andreevka, Vasyukovka, Razdolovka, Bogdanovka, Artemovsk, Krasny, Kurdyumovka, and Kleshcheevka in the same region.

Official figures cited by Moscow put Ukrainian casualties at more than 240 killed or wounded in these actions. The report also noted the destruction of a tank, an infantry fighting vehicle, two other vehicles, and an MSTA-B howitzer.

In a broader tally, the Defense Ministry noted that since the start of what Russia terms the special military operation, the Russian armed forces have claimed to have destroyed more than 500 Ukrainian aircraft and 13,000 tanks.

According to the defense ministry, Ukraine also lost 441 anti-aircraft missile systems and 13,486 tanks in total up to the stated point in time.

Earlier, U.S. sources described a collapse in the counteroffensive conducted by Ukrainian forces.

These statements reflect Moscow’s ongoing narrative of success in the Donetsk theater, with regular updates from the ministry highlighting daily engagements and claimed equipment losses as part of the broader conflict coverage. [Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation]
