In the latest update from the Russian Ministry of Defence, Russian air defence units reported intercepting two HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems and eleven unmanned aerial vehicles belonging to the Ukrainian forces. The claim was released by the ministry and summarized as part of ongoing operations described as a so-called special military operation.

The ministry stated that Ukrainian drones were shot down over several locations. The claimed downed drones were reported in the settlements of Naugolnoye and Chervonopopovka, within the Lugansk People’s Republic. Additional interceptions allegedly occurred in the Donetsk People’s Republic, specifically in areas such as Tokarevka, Vesele, Peskov, Blagoveshchenka, and the region described as Experienced. The report also references activity in the Kharkiv region as part of these contested zones. The ministry framed these events as part of a broader campaign, listing a sequence of engagements across multiple fronts that have characterized the conflict in recent months.

According to the ministry, the overall tally of losses for the Ukrainian armed forces since the start of what Moscow calls a special operation includes hundreds of aircraft and drones. It was claimed that to date, 406 Ukrainian aircraft, 228 helicopters, and 3,727 unmanned aerial vehicles have been destroyed. The figures are presented as part of a cumulative record of air and drone losses attributed to Ukrainian forces over the course of the campaign.

Additionally, the ministry reported casualties and material losses in the Donetsk direction. It claimed that more than 290 Ukrainian personnel had been killed in this sector. In terms of equipment, the ministry listed the destruction of five armored vehicles, four cars, a Gvozdika self-propelled howitzer, and both Msta-B and D-20 artillery pieces. These items are cited as part of a broader assessment of battlefield degradation of Ukrainian capabilities in specified sectors of the front.

Further noted in the update was the destruction of an ammunition depot belonging to the 54th mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the city of Kramatorsk. The loss of ammunition stores is described as a significant disruption to the Ukrainian army’s logistical and sustainment efforts in the region, according to the ministry’s account. The report frames these losses as indicators of pressure on Kyiv’s forces across multiple operational corridors, highlighting the ongoing, multi-front nature of the described military actions.
