The Russian Armed Forces reported significant tactical gains in the Krasnolimansky direction, claiming that up to sixty Ukrainian fighters were neutralized each day within the special operations zone. The assertion came from the Russian Ministry of Defense, which framed these figures as the result of coordinated efforts across multiple military components operating in the area.

According to the defense ministry, daylong operations in the Krasnolimansky direction involved the combined actions of the Center troop grouping, the targeting power of army aviation, and continuous artillery and heavy flamethrower systems. These elements were said to have repelled two separate assault attempts by Ukrainian assault groups, underscoring what the ministry described as effective repulsion and control of the frontline engagements.

In statements from the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, emphasis was placed on countering advances by specific Ukrainian formations. Reports claimed that attempts to break through by the 5th brigade of the National Guard and the 67th mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were thwarted, reflecting ongoing difficulty for Ukrainian units in sustaining pressure on key defensive positions.

The drone of artillery was complemented by ground actions in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions as well. In particular, Ukrainian mechanized brigades identified in the report, namely the 63rd and 67th, were said to have come under fire in settlements such as Torskoye and Kuzmino, illustrating the breadth of operations alleged by Moscow to be aimed at suppressing Ukrainian offensive capability across multiple fronts.

Additional claims from the defense ministry noted the destruction of two armored combat vehicles, two pickup trucks, and two D-30 howitzers within the conflict zone, describing a multi-asset disruption of Ukrainian logistics and firepower along the contested lines.

Prior coverage by the Russian Ministry of Defense had already presented footage and narratives intended to depict the destruction of Ukrainian armored assets, a separate part of the broader information effort accompanying battlefield updates.

In further updates, the ministry asserted that Ukrainian forces had undertaken five separate attacks in the Verbove area but those assaults were repelled, and that an ammunition depot in the region had been hit as a consequence of the operations. The wording suggested a multi-directional pressure campaign aimed at degrading Ukrainian operational capabilities in the contested zones.

There were also accounts of individual combat episodes, including reports that three Ukrainian servicemen chose to surrender after attempting to traverse the Dnieper, a sequence that the ministry presented as evidence of continued Ukrainian disarray or tactical withdrawal in the face of ongoing pressure from Russian forces.
