The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that Russian air defense systems intercepted and neutralized two Mi-8 helicopters belonging to the Ukrainian Air Force. The claim notes that the engagement took place in the vicinity of the Dvurechnaya settlements within Temirovka in the Zaporozhye region as well as in the Kharkov region, detailing the locations where these aircraft were brought down. In addition to these developments, the ministry stated that seven HIMARS and Uragan multiple rocket launchers were intercepted within the last twenty-four hours, and a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle was shot down near the village of Chervony Mayak in the Kherson region, according to the Defense Ministry. The report further asserts that since the start of the special operation, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed a substantial arsenal of Ukrainian military hardware, including four hundred aircraft and two hundred twenty helicopters, along with three thousand three hundred eighty-five unmanned aerial vehicles, among other types of weapons. On the preceding day, the ministry claimed that air defense systems had downed four HIMARS and Uragan MLRS projectiles and intercepted four HARM anti-radar missiles, reflecting ongoing efforts to counter Ukrainian military capabilities as part of the operation.
