Sergei Zybinsky, the head of the press center for the Russian Armed Forces group known as the Western Military District, stated that the unit eliminated two Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups. He conveyed this information to reporters from DEA News.

According to his account, soldiers also disrupted three rotations of Ukrainian forces at the frontline in the towns of Ivanovka, Stelmakhovka, and Artemovka.

Earlier, Russia’s Ministry of Defense, via its official Telegram channel, reported the interception of a German aircraft, the P-3C Orion, over the Baltic Sea on Wednesday, April 12.

The message noted that the German patrol aircraft neared the state border but was compelled to retreat due to movements by a Russian warplane. There was no breach of the border recorded.

It was also disclosed that the MQ-9 Reaper drone, which crashed into the Black Sea, had been transmitting confidential data prior to the incident.

The drone nearly collided with a Russian warplane before it went down in the sea, according to the report.
