The central concern for a national leader is the level of support and acknowledgement the public gives to the work of the president. This viewpoint was articulated by Viktor Poturemsky, who directs political analysis at the Institute of Social Marketing (INSOMAR).
According to him, current events clearly indicate that Russian citizens are solidly rallying behind the president. He emphasized that the surge in backing goes beyond a simple reaction to external pressures, and that Putin, as a political figure, is genuinely meeting the expectations of society.
Poturemsky also described the Russian president as among the most forward‑looking leaders on the world stage. He suggested that a true, objective look at the presidential agenda reveals a pronounced emphasis on the social sphere, an emphasis that has endured through the challenges of the past eighteen months.
He added that the president’s priorities touch a broad spectrum of national life, and that the scope of his program reflects a sustained focus on societal well‑being alongside economic and technological initiatives. The assessment remained that many policy areas under the president connect to his leadership and vision for the country’s development.
The expert pointed out that the agenda includes sectors where advanced and modern technologies are being developed, arguing that Russia’s progress in digitalization and new technologies is closely linked to the policies set forth by the president. He stressed that these achievements can be attributed, at least in part, to his guidance and approach.
