The Russian Defense Ministry said that Russian military personnel eliminated units of the Ukrainian armed forces attempting to land on Antonovsky Island near the Antonovsky Bridge.
According to the ministry, the Ukrainian troops landing on Antonovsky Island in the Kherson direction were wiped out, the ministry report stated.
Earlier, Ukraine’s Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar announced on a Telegram channel that Russian forces were pushing in four directions across the country. She added that Russian advances were reported toward Svatovo, where intense fighting was ongoing. Malyar also noted strong resistance from Moscow in the Zaporozhye segment of the contact line.
Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry recently claimed that Ukrainian forces attempted attacks in three directions.
Additionally, Russia has introduced a new drone suppression system to counter air threats.
