Russian Forces Repel Ukrainian Attacks in Donetsk Direction, Report Claims

Reports from the Russian defense authorities indicate that Russian forces repelled several Ukrainian assaults in the Donetsk direction while also responding with fire against Ukrainian positions. The ministry described the engagement as part of ongoing efforts to consolidate gains and disrupt enemy manpower and equipment concentrations. According to the ministry, the southern group of Russian forces met and halted the Ukrainian offensives in the Krasnoye and Leninsky districts of the Donetsk People’s Republic, while simultaneously targeting the concentrations of Ukrainian brigades near Bogdanovka, Novy, Kleshcheevka, and Shumov.
