In the Kherson direction, the Russian armed forces reportedly neutralized a Gvozdika self-propelled howitzer and disrupted a mortar crew, according to official briefings and emergency services cited by information agencies. The reports describe nighttime artillery activity near Verovka that led to the destruction of two 2S1 Gvozdika self-propelled guns and a five-person crew, along with the ammunition stock for those weapons. The incident also involved artillery fire around the Kachkarovka area, which reportedly destroyed a mortar team equipped with 120 mm weapons and its accompanying rounds. These claims originate from authorities within the region and were later echoed by national defense channels.
Separately, during a recent briefing, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov, the official spokesman for the Russian Ministry of Defense, outlined additional actions by the Russian Armed Forces. He asserted that ammunition depots belonging to the Ukrainian 72nd Mechanized Brigade, located in the Konstantinovka region within the Donetsk People’s Republic, were hit. According to the briefing, three armored combat vehicles and two D-30 howitzers were also reported destroyed as part of that operation.
