The ministry described the incident as part of ongoing measures in the special military operation zone.

The ministry also stated that a total of 107 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed in the same period. Some of these drones were reportedly detected and eliminated in the Donetsk region near Pavlovka and Yasinovataya. The description listed several populated areas where Ukrainian drones were destroyed, including Zmievka, Troitskoe, Novokrasnyanka, Golikovo, and other locations within the Luhansk and Zaporozhye regions. The report highlighted operations in multiple districts as part of the security campaign.

Additionally, a large number of drones were observed near the Kherson settlement of Chernomorivka. A similar pattern was noted near the village of Kolodeznoye in the Kharkov region, where air defense assets reportedly intercepted additional drone activity during the same period.
