The Russian Defense Ministry reports casualties and equipment losses in Kherson and southern directions
The Russian Defense Ministry stated that around ten Ukrainian soldiers were eliminated in the Kherson sector. Reporters were informed of these figures by ministry officials.
In addition to the human toll, the ministry claimed the destruction of two vehicles and two D-30 howitzers. They also reported that Kiev had suffered losses of roughly seventy personnel in the Yuzhno-Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions.
The ministry noted that Air Force personnel were awarded state honors in a zone described as a special operations area. The awards were presented by a senior leadership official responsible for delivery, the first deputy commander of the Air Force, Lieutenant General Anatoly Kontsevoi.
Defense officials described a ceremony in which service members were recognized with high distinctions. The awards included the Order of Courage, the Cross of St. George fourth degree, and orders such as the Order for Merit to the Fatherland with swords, and medals honoring Courage, Suvorov, Zhukov, and actions described as saving those in peril.
