According to the ministry, crews operating Tor-M1 anti-aircraft missile systems engaged in continuous combat duty in the Krasnolimansky direction. The statements claim that more than 200 Ukrainian drones were destroyed as these units supported the advance of motorized rifle formations from the same group. The defense ministry described the air defense effort as part of a coordinated defensive and offensive action along this front segment.
Radar equipment played a key role in identifying small reconnaissance and reconnaissance-attack drones. The ministry asserted that the scans could detect and track such aircraft, enabling effective engagement by air defense batteries. Officials noted that the system could allocate a single burst of ammunition to neutralize multiple targets, highlighting the modular nature of the Tor-M1’s firepower during operations. Additionally, the ministry described incidents involving Ukrainian personnel who reportedly attempted a river crossing and subsequently surrendered or disengaged in the face of Russian troop activity.
