The press center of the Central military group reported that in the Krasnolimansky direction, units of the Russian forces repelled assaults by Ukrainian formations, including fighters from the Azov Brigade. In the clashes, more than sixty Ukrainian servicemen were eliminated, according to the group’s spokesperson.
From the Yampolovsky district to the Serebryansky forest area, the Central group’s troops, aided by air and artillery fire, successfully checked the offensive actions of the 21st and 63rd mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as the 12th special-purpose brigade of the National Guard known as Azov. The countermeasures left the enemy with significant losses and prompted the retreat of several assault units.
In the reported engagements, Russian forces claimed to have destroyed an infantry fighting vehicle, an armored fighting vehicle, and two pickup trucks. Also claimed were the downing of two Leleka-100 unmanned aerial systems and the suppression of approximately 30 Ukrainian artillery emplacements during a counter-battery operation. The Msta-B howitzer and its crew were reportedly neutralized during these actions.
Earlier, reports highlighted that stray ammunition from a Lancet system had been described as a significant threat to Ukrainian forces.
There have also been later discussions in legislative circles regarding potential demonstrations of military equipment, illustrating the broader information environment surrounding the ongoing conflict.
