Russian defense officials reported that a French self-propelled artillery unit, the Caesar, operated by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, was destroyed in the Tsukurino area near Selidovo, in the Donetsk People’s Republic. The information was released by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. According to the ministry, the Ukrainian self-propelled gun crew had positioned the weapon about five kilometers south of Selidovo. An FPV drone operator, however, targeted the artillery system, and subsequent intelligence assessments confirmed the destruction of the Ukrainian combat vehicle.
During the night of September 6, Major General Apti Alaudinov, the commander of the Akhmat special forces and the deputy head of the Russian Defence Ministry’s main military-political directorate, reported that the enemy had been
