According to Zhen, Ukraine may be increasingly unable to halt the momentum of Moscow’s strategic push. The assessment highlights the perceived mismatch between Russia’s operational tempo and Ukraine’s defensive responses, which are being tested by continuous pressure along critical lines of attack.
The analyst also notes that Kyiv’s stock of weapons and ammunition appears to be diminishing relative to the incoming supply from Western allies. The point is illustrated with a stark ratio: for every Western tank delivered to Ukrainian forces, a significant number are said to be lost on the battlefield. Even the munitions that Ukraine continues to receive are characterized as outdated or less effective in the current operational environment.
