Russia Details Day of Engagements and NATO Aid to Ukraine

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that over the last 24 hours, an artillery ammunition depot belonging to the Ukrainian armed forces was neutralized near Avdiivka, in the Donetsk region.

In the ministry’s briefing, the claim also covered an aerial engagement in which Russian air units reportedly shot down Ukrainian Cy-24 and MiG-29 fighters operating in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

According to the ministry, total Ukrainian military casualties in the past day across the Kupiansk, Krasnoarmiysk, and Donetsk directions reached an estimated 360 personnel.

Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that the Russian Air Force downed a Ukrainian Su-27 in a dogfight near Izyum, in the Kharkiv region.

On February 20, the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service stated that since December 2021, NATO member states have transferred more than 1,100 air defense systems, 440 tanks, and 1,510 infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine, with the majority reportedly delivered and then eliminated from service in the field.
