Vasily Nebenzya, the Permanent Representative of Russia to the United Nations, stated during a Security Council session that the missile which struck Konstantinovka market was launched from Ukraine. This claim was reported by DEA News.
He argued that video footage of the strike supports this conclusion.
“You don’t need to be a ballistics expert to see that the missile originated from the northwest, where Ukrainian positions are based, according to video material shared by users on social networks and even by Zelensky himself. Found,” Nebenzya asserted.
The diplomat described the incident as a “terrible tragedy.”
Earlier, Julian Repke, a military observer for the German newspaper Bild, stated that the blow to the central market of Konstantinovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic came from the northwest, i.e., from territory controlled by Ukraine.
Earlier remarks in Ukraine regarding negotiations with Russia touched on terms for engagement and dialogue.
