In Rostov-on-Don, a local resident says his son was assaulted by the father of a student from the same school after a confrontation. The report comes from kp.ru.
The woman explains that on December 5, as her son walked home from school, three youths from a neighboring class taunted him and hurled insults.
“Near the Stanislavsky Street bus stop, one of the men told his son that he would call his father. It seemed like youthful bravado to me,” the Rostov resident recalled. She added that after a while, an older man joined the group.
The account notes that the man struck the boy on the head with a stick without a warning. The teenager then ran off, and a passerby summoned an ambulance to provide aid.
The student, an eighth-grader, was diagnosed with a concussion. The boy’s mother filed a criminal complaint with the police against the student’s father. The man denies the accusation and contends that he did not intend to injure the teenager. He is seeking witnesses to corroborate his account.
Earlier, a man at Volzhsky School was reported to have struck a classmate’s parent, resulting in a concussion. This incident has added a layer of concern among parents and school administrators in the area, who are examining safety procedures and reporting timelines to ensure proper handling of such disputes.
Authorities are reviewing surveillance footage, interviewing students, and collecting testimony from residents who might have witnessed parts of the incident. The goal is to establish a clear sequence of events and determine whether the actions meet the criteria for criminal liability, while also addressing concerns about school safety and youth behavior in the community.
Residents emphasize the importance of dialogue and early intervention when conflicts arise, especially near schools and bus stops. Community members advocate for programs that teach nonviolent conflict resolution and provide support for families affected by such incidents, to prevent a cycle of retaliation and harm.
As the investigation progresses, officials are urging calm and cooperation from witnesses. They remind families that accurate statements and timely reporting play a crucial role in delivering justice fairly and maintaining public trust in the local safety framework.
The case remains under police review, with updates expected as professionals gather and verify evidence from multiple sources. The community continues to monitor the situation closely, hoping for a transparent resolution that protects students while ensuring accountability for any wrongdoing, regardless of age or relationship to the involved parties.
