Rostec State Corporation has delivered a batch of 152-mm Malva self-propelled artillery systems to the Russian Ministry of Defense, a move confirmed by TASS through the company’s press service. The Malva mount is described as highly mobile and capable of fully automated operation across all compatible ammunition types. Rostec highlighted a simultaneous-fire capability, enabling multiple rounds to reach the target at once and improving the speed and cohesion of fire support during engagements. This capability can shorten the time from target identification to effect, increasing battlefield responsiveness and reducing the need for manual intervention in high-demand scenarios. The Malva system’s automated handling and firing sequence are designed to enhance logistical efficiency, minimize crew exposure, and adapt to various combat environments, including rapid reaction scenarios and limited-resupply conditions in contested areas. In practical terms, operators can expect streamlined targeting routines, faster ammunition cycling, and improved coordination with other supporting weapons systems on the field.
