Rosauro Varo has stepped down from his role as an independent member of Prisa’s board of directors, a move confirmed in the filing Prisa sent to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV). The departure entails relinquishing not only his board seat but also the responsibilities tied to the vice chairmanship and his seat on the delegated committee, along with membership on the company’s appointments, remuneration and corporate governance committee. The company’s notice emphasizes that the change comes as Varo pivots toward new professional challenges and acknowledges that the time and commitment required for his current duties would be difficult to sustain.
