The much-loved shopping carts from Rolser drew attention from leaders at MoMA, the prestigious Museum of Modern Art in New York, which decided to add one of Rolser’s models to its product catalog. This milestone marks a notable vote of confidence in a Pedreguer-based company, recognizing both the quality of its products and its ongoing commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
The MoMA selection highlights the ECO I-MAX 6L model in dark blue, designed specifically for the museum. The museum’s criterion when selecting new products centers on strong design combined with practical problem-solving—a blend of functionality and style that Rolser emphasizes in this model.
The company notes that the model has undergone thorough testing to ensure it meets the daily needs of New Yorkers, offering features like six wheels that help overcome urban challenges such as stairs and variable entryways—crucial in a city with a bustling pace and many flights of stairs.
Moreover, it is an ecological product made from 100% recycled bag materials. The trolley uses polyester derived from plastic bottles and recycled cotton, delivering ample space for groceries, laundry, or a day out with a picnic while aligning with responsible environmental practices.
Beyond its eco-friendly core, the trolley retains Rolser’s hallmark comforts: a foldable design for compact storage, multiple pockets, a drawstring closure, and an aluminum chassis with hooks to attach additional small bags. The model is currently available at MoMA’s two New York stores, located in SoHo and on 53rd Street, as well as on the museum’s website.
