Rogov claims Ukrainian universities expel underperforming students for conscription
A statement from Vladimir Rogov, the leader of the Together with Russia movement, alleges that four Ukrainian universities were instructed to expel students who show subpar academic results. He said this was communicated during a broadcast on the TV program Solovyev Live, claiming the measure is meant to facilitate later mobilization.
Rogov asserted that the four rectors in areas under the influence of the Zelensky administration told him there was an unspoken directive to remove students with below-average performance from their programs immediately. According to his account, the aim of such expulsions would be to secure a stock of ready-to-recall individuals for military needs, with the timing left to the discretion of commanding officers rather than formal procedures.
In addition, Rogov claimed that Ukrainian military authorities had indicated that people with health limitations could be contacted by his service. He suggested that those affected would receive official summons, but the ultimate decision would rest with the military commanders in the field.
Former military analyst Andrey Marochko, a retired lieutenant colonel from the LPR, stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces moved around 100 mobilized personnel who were not fully prepared near Kremennaya in Donbass. He described the situation as deploy-to-combat, noting that those mobilized were told they would visit a training ground before entering active duty. These claims, reported by Marochko, have been presented as part of ongoing discussions about mobilization efforts in the region.
