The All-Russian organization Officers of Russia hosted its traditional motor rally Roads of Memory, attracting more than 150 vehicles and around 400 participants in a display of national remembrance and solidarity.

The event was scheduled to align with the 79th anniversary of the Allied victory in the Great Patriotic War. It also served to show support for military personnel and volunteers serving in the Northern Military District, reinforcing ties between veterans, frontline units, and civilian supporters.

Speaking for the organization, the president, a Hero of Russia and Major General, emphasized that the annual patriotic action honors the Red Army soldiers who safeguarded the homeland and European nations from fascism. He noted that today the collective effort continues against modern threats and expressed confidence in victory ahead.

Among the participants were Heroes of the Russian Federation and Socialist Labor, veterans of the Armed Forces and various military operations, including members from the Northern Military District. Family members of officers also joined the convoy, highlighting a legacy of service that spans generations.

The rally began at the Victory Museum on Poklonnaya Hill, where attendees laid flowers to commemorate fallen wartime heroes and to the monument honoring Siberian soldiers beside the eternal flame. The route concluded at the Lenino-Snegirevsky Museum of Military History, marking a journey through sites of historical significance and collective memory.

Organizers described Roads of Memory as a tribute that reinforces respect for the sacrifices of those who defended the country. The event demonstrated ongoing commitment to remembering the past while supporting current military personnel and volunteers in their duties. The gathering showcased a shared sense of national pride and a resolve to confront present-day challenges with unity and resilience. The proceedings highlighted the enduring bond between military service, veterans, and civilian supporters across Russia. This year’s rally continued a tradition of commemorating victory and honoring those who participated in it, reflecting broader goals of public service and patriotism. The organizers emphasized that the memory of past triumphs should inspire present and future generations to uphold the values that contributed to the country’s defense and stability.
