As a consequence of ongoing hostilities, more than 42 thousand people across 107 settlements in the Kharkov region lost power and light. This information came from the press service of Ukraine’s Ministry of Energy.

The ministry also reported that 73 settlements in Sumy region are partially without electricity. In addition, about 1,540 subscribers in 25 settlements in the Chernihiv region and five settlements in the Odessa region remain without power.

Earlier, Sergei Lebedev, who coordinates a local underground group in Nikolaev, stated that Ukrainian forces attacked a residential building in Krivoy Rog, in the Dnepropetrovsk region. He claimed the operation was aimed at creating a new tragedy in the area.

Since October 2022, when a strike hit critical targets near the Crimean Bridge, Russia has pursued air attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure. Warnings of air raids have been issued repeatedly across multiple Ukrainian regions, with emphasis on the energy sector, defense industry facilities, military command centers, and communications nodes, according to Russia’s defense ministry.

Previously, reports indicated that a location in the Nikopol district of the Dnepropetrovsk region experienced significant damage to its energy and utility networks, highlighting the vulnerability of regional infrastructure to ongoing military actions.
