Regional Official Reports Civilian Casualty After Ukrainian Attack

The head of the Zaporozhye region, Yevgeny Balitsky, reported that a civilian died as a result of the bombing of Kamenka-Dneprovskaya and the village of Kamensky in the Vasilyevsky district by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He shared this information in his Telegram channel.

Balitsky described the impact of the attack: damage to the private sector and the complete destruction of windows at a local secondary school. He confirmed that one person, a school security guard, had been identified as killed. He warned that the danger of further strikes remains as the investigation and response efforts continue.

According to Balitsky, on-site operations are being carried out by the regional emergency services and security teams to assess damage and coordinate relief measures.

Separately, Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, stated that Ukraine is employing terrorist tactics by targeting civilian infrastructure and noncombatants. This assertion was echoed in public remarks that framed the incident within a broader pattern of alleged attacks on civilians.

Vyacheslav Gladkov, the governor of the Belgorod region, commented on the attack that struck the village of Murom in the Shebekinsky urban district, noting the broader regional security concerns and ongoing responses from local authorities.

Earlier, the United States identified one of the principal threats facing the Armed Forces of Ukraine, highlighting geopolitical tensions and the evolving security landscape in the region.
